Summer Wheatley isn’t the only person who will end up losing to Pedro in his lifetime.
You may have already started to see the man scruff coming out as Movember is officially here.
Men who normally sport clean-cut looks discard the razor for the next month in a movement to help raise money for men’s cancer research.
For some it might be a refreshing look. For others such as Ryan Kerrigan, it’s a traumatizing month of reminders that the peach fuzz over the upper lip in high school hasn’t gotten much better.
No one is going to be confusing the third-year linebacker with Nick Offerman or Tom Selleck anytime soon.
Made Man is going to make Kerrigan’s month of growth a little bit easier with a donation each time #MadeMoRyan is used.
“Made Man has run this program for a couple of years where they donate a dollar through a social media initiative,” Kerrigan said with some funky looking stuff below his nose. “They use a donation every time someone uses a hastag, mine is #MadeMoRyan.”
Only seeing him mix up his hairstyle from Adam Morrison Jr. to some sort of stylized Jimmy Neutron-esque look, Kerrigan said there’s a reason he keeps his face silky smooth.
…Because it looks that bad when he attempts facial hair.
“Last year I attempted it and it was very disgusting looking,” Kerrigan said with a laugh. “It was just awful. I’m quite patchy.”
When asked where he’d rank on the famous mustache chart, Kerrigan said his caterpillar will make Pedro’s look Beard Hall of Fame worthy in comparison.
“I’m probably a step below Pedro. That’d be the best way I’d put it.”
Follow Kerrigan on Twitter (@RyanKerrigan91) all month long and remember to use #MadeMoRyan.
For those of you getting through this month by a whisker, check out this video of some hairy advice from Mr. Offerman himself:
