Whether you call him Robert Griffin III, RGIII, Bobby Griff (Tony Kornheiser) or simply Robert, the reigning AP Offensive Rookie of the Year had one of his better games of the season.
Shaking off a bizarre, pinball-esque interception in his own end zone, Griffin III connected on nearly 72 percent of his passes for 291 yards. On the final drive of the game he hit Jordan Reed and Pierre Garcon on beautiful dimes that only a handful of men on this earth could complete.
While he may have only rushed for 17 yards on the day, he picked and chose his spots, including a third down run that had a pretty painful looking landing but he brushed it off and trotted back to the huddle.
Also did you see the triple option plays? Even Santana Moss got a carry.
Anyway, despite his required presence at the podium, Griffin III was quick to deflect praise to his teammates.
