Yesterday’s roller coaster thrill ride against the Bears probably toyed with your emotions.

Papa Johns logoThe Redskins were up, then down, then up, then… well you get the picture. All that change must have been hard to take. Even after exhaling a sigh of relief when Roy Helu Jr. put Washington up for good, you might be a little discombobulated today.

You could use some comfort food, and Papa John’s is here to help with a 12 FREE TOPPINGS special for Monday only.

A day after every Redskins game, fans can order a large cheese pizza for only $9.99, plus for each touchdown the Redskins score, fans get one free topping. After a win, fans can double their free toppings. So after six Redskins touchdowns against Chicago, you get 12 free toppings.

Here are the toppings I think represent each scorer best.

Roy Helu Jr. (3 TD runs) – Onions and peppers: The unsung heroes of the pizza. True team players.

Aldrick Robinson (45-yard touchdown grab) – Bacon: An occasional treat that really adds a punch.

Jordan Reed (3-yard touchdown grab) – Pineapple and Canadian bacon: Sure to be a favorite if you’ve never seen it before.

Brian Orakpo (29-yard interception for a touchdown) – Extra cheese: For piling it on.

What will you slap on your 12-topping pizza? Follow Kirk Cousins’ lead and go for the maximum.
