There’s an old saying that your best defense is a good offense. For the Redskins, they could use a fantastic showing on the offensive side of the pigskin (okay they could actually use it on both sides of the ball, but for the purpose of this article I’ll leave them out this time) to not only get that elusive first win of the season, but gain momentum and confidence going into the Bye Week.

Sitting on a win for two weeks leading up to the always vaunted Cowboys matchup (in Dallas) and things could really turn around. A fourth loss in four games–well I’d rather not elaborate on that any and I know you don’t want me to.

Anyway, offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan focused his afternoon press conference on improvement.

“By no means are we where we want to be, but we just have to keep working and getting better.”
