If any other quarterback connected on 88 of his passes for nearly 1,000 yards in the first three games of the season, the team’s brass would be ecstatic. After all it’d perfectly fit the mold of today’s ever-changing game that favors pass-heavy attacks.

While the Washington Redskins have thoroughly enjoyed seeing Robert Griffin III’s progress in the passing game in year two, a chunk of those yards have come when the score led the offense to have no choice but resort to throwing on every down.

He ran more last week (a season-high 37 rushing yards) but due to a ‘sucky rule’, his longest run of the season finished with a turnover forced by the ground.

Griffin III opened his weekly press conference talking about turning the corner on disappointing start, working on his sliding, getting Alfred Morris more carries, moving out of the pocket with fluidity more often, advice from his father,

To be able to handle adversity is an important trait in a QB. Be careful people who want to toss this guy to the side after a few games. His determination and leadership will prove most valuable to this team. He is a franchise guy, give him time. HTTR.

After watching last week’s game,i saw us in the process of turning the season around. We lose as a team and we win as a team.It is all about the players on the field, they just do what they do to win and to continue to win.We will win our conference and we know what we need to do to do that.I have no doubt in my mind.”HTTR HV BOTW FFODC”

After last week’s game,i saw us in the process of turning things around. We lose as a team and we win as a team. The players should never have to point the finger at each other. It is all about the players on the field having each others back.I feel the players on the field can make adjustments within each other during the course of the game.We all know that some of the plays being called by the offensive and the defensive coaches need adjustments with the players on the field. As of Sunday,we will be turning our season around and we will be playing as the good team we are.”HTTR HV BOTW FFODC”
