Washington Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan hasn’t been on the opposite sideline of the Oakland Raiders since Week 12 of the 2008 season, but he’ll thoroughly enjoy going against them once again.
Coach of the Denver Broncos for 14 years, Shanahan has beaten the Raiders 21 times. The most success he has against any team.
Now in Washington, D.C., Shanahan is cooking up a great game plan that he’s hoping will springboard the team into the Bye Week with some confidence before the next three games against the division leading Dallas Cowboys, Chicago Bears and the Broncos—Shanahan’s first game there since leaving.
Anyway, Shanahan addressed the media this afternoon and gave updates on who practiced and who didn’t, preparing for both Terrelle Pryor and Matt Flynn with Pryor’s status unknown, footing adjustment when playing on a field used for baseball, the kicking game, rookie David Amerson and much more.
