Unlike the first two games of the season where the Washington Redskins had to claw their way back into games with a pass-heavy attack and mount valiant comeback attempts via the arm of quarterback Robert Griffin III, they remained very much alive until the very end of the game.
Unfortunately, it resulted in another loss. While there are no moral victories in football, there were two plays of particular note that captivated the FedExField faithful—the touchdowns.
Up first, is veteran cornerback DeAngelo Hall with a heady play to jump a miscommunicated route. It was his first interception return for a touchdown on the season.
Running back Alfred Morris scored on the second longest touchdown run (30 yards) of his young career in the second quarter.
