Quarterback Robert Griffin III addressed the media shortly after the Redskins’ third comeback attempt in as many weeks fell short, this time 27-20.

While Griffin III did indeed throw for 300 yards once again and showed more mobility than he did during the first two weeks, he had an uncharacteristic three fumbles and a costly interception deep in Lions territory.

Just as his teammates said in the locker room, they had too many costly turnovers that negatively affected the score in the long run.

Even though the Redskins lost today, I just wanted to let you and the TEAM know how proud I was of each one of you and how you stepped up and played today! Now I believe that the Wins are coming if the Team continues to stay focused, works hard and plays like a Team!

just another sad day on the field. No joy in Mudville today and it won’t get any easier than they could have had today.

“We lost the game on two judgement calls”???? Seems to me that those two plays were reviewed… Those weren’t “judgement calls” they were by the rules.

Hard Work, Staying Focused and Believing in Yourself and Your Team will get the Wins in the Win Column. Now go Beat those Raiders in Game 4! I am confident that you can and you will. We need Smiles on those Sidelines and I want to Smile in New York too!

RGIII is not 100%. I had a quad tear 3 1/2 yrs ago and it is still hindering my movement. I commend his heart and sole for the team but he’s just not ready. I don’t care what the Doctor or RGIII has said about the injury. Remember, Michael Jackson had a Doctor too.

I cannot think of a better year to have a week 5 bye.
