Washington Redskins defensive coordinator Jim Haslett addressed the media this afternoon before the team headed out for another day of practice in preparation for the Detroit Lions.

A lot of questions have surfaced recently about the defense’s disappointing start, but hear straight from the source how the team is formulating a game plan to reverse the trend on Sunday.

Haslett touched on form tackling, containing Calvin Johnson, the rookie defensive backs, stopping the run, his move to the booth and more. Here’s video of the press conference as you finish up your microwavable lunch as well as some quick hits courtesy of the Redskins’ Twitter (@Redskins):

Today, I went to the beach front with my kids.
I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said
“You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell to
her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.

She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is entirely off topic but I had to
    tell someone!
