The Washington Redskins season has gotten off to a rough start, as they have fallen behind early in each game and haven’t been able to complete comeback attempts before the final whistle blows.
As Robert Griffin III admitted yesterday during his postgame interview, there isn’t exactly a pinpointable reason behind the early game struggles, but they will work at getting things back on track because “it isn’t who we are as a team”.
The offense couldn’t keep the defensive off the field against the quick-strike Packers, converting on only three third down attempts and losing the time of possession battle by nearly five minutes (the final number doesn’t symbolize the Packers offense’s stand on the field as they also ran 12 more plays than the Redskins).
The players reacted on Twitter last night after the loss to vent their frustrations, but refuse to throw in the towel after only two games.
