For those of you coming clad in burgundy and gold tonight, leave behind that Redskins rain jacket as there will be no need for it.
There is almost a zero percent chance of rain tonight but 100 percent chance that FedExField will be rocking the moment Robert Griffin III is introduced before the game.
Even with the sun setting sometime during the early stages of the first quarter, glares will be a complete non-factor as cloud cover will remain persistent throughout the evening.
Temperatures will be a comfortable mid-70’s and winds will stay steady around 6 mph all game long .
Here’s a complete forecast for tonight’s game courtesy of Weather.com:
Tonight will mark the earliest Redskins-Eagles matchup since 1996 when the two tangled on September 1st in a back and forth affair that saw the Eagles squeak out a three point victory.
Speaking of three points, tonight’s conditions will play in favor of kicker Kai Forbath. We have yet to see Forbath compete in a Redskins uniform in the ninth month of the year. But, as he proved last season, he has no problem weathering the elements to make a clutch field goal.
All he’ll need to worry about tonight, though, is simply knocking the pigskin through the pipes.
