There’s no denying the fact that Washington Redskins wide receiver Aldrick Robinson is one of the biggest fan favorites on the team. Each and every time he steps onto the field, defensive coordinators cringe at the thought of him burning their secondary—and he usually does.

Hey, Redskins fans love the long ball. There’s nothing wrong with that.

Although he may have only recorded 11 catches last season, his numbers (237 yards and three touchdowns) lead one to believe that if given enough repetitions, he has the tools necessary to be an elite receiver for years to come. While it remains to be seen if he’ll measure up to his potential, a third season for any NFL player is usually the time in which the cream rises to the top.

Now away from what is actually going to take place in NFL stadiums across the country starting Thursday, everyone has a bold fantasy football prediction.  For fantasy football expert/ the envy of every man across this great land, Matthew Berry, he’s running with the biggest prediction of all—850 receiving yards and seven touchdowns for No. 11.

A Second RGIII McFarlane Figure

Posted by Ross Hollebon on September 1, 2013 – 6:22 pm

RG3-series32Last November Washington Redskins rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III not only spearheaded a 7-game winning streak to help capture the NFC East division title, but he also made his McFarlane’s SportsPicks debut.

His initial 6” figure sported the home dark jersey and yellow pants (though the company also released limited edition versions of the figure in white jersey/white pants and the 1937 throwback uniform worn on the field in 2012).

That was series 31 of the sports figure line.

Guess who is also in series 32?

After taking the NFL by storm in his rookie season and winning the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year award, RGIII has once again been cast as a 6” action figure.RG3-series-32-package

The new version, which hit store shelves during training camp in August, appears in scrambling pose. While it is a little bit easier to contain RGIII at this size, it is still hard to tell if he is about throw the ball downfield or tuck-and-run. Lucky for most of us, we only have to put it on a mantle, shelf or desk and not defend against him.

You can find the newest Robert Griffin III McFarlane figure online or at the Redskins Hall of Fame Store at FedExField.

(McFarlane Toys also made a limited edition version without a helmet, with an oversized head to show more detail and likeness to RGIII, so be on the lookout for that one too.)
