Coach’s Turn: Kyle Shanahan At The Mic

This may come as a shock, but Washington Redskins offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan’s weekly press conference started with a question about quarterback Robert Griffin III.

Well now that we have that revelation out of the way I can confirm that the reigning AP Offensive Rookie of the Year wasn’t the only topic of discussion this afternoon.

Despite a down on their luck type first quarter (thanks to Pittsburgh dominating possession—credit Ryan Kerrigan for that) the offense really started hitting on all cyliders in the second quarter. The highlight of that 15 minute period came on one of Leonard Hankerson’s ginormous hands.
