Well that didn’t take very long.

In a designation normally reserved in post career tributes, Robert Griffin III will have his own documentary entitled “RGIII: The Will to Win” thanks to the guys at NFL Films and Gatorade Productions.

I guess when you burst onto the scene with over 4,000 combined yards, AP Offensive Rookie of the Year honors and lead a franchise to its first division title in 13 seasons; you might be a big deal.

Set to air on Tuesday August 27th at 7 p.m. EST (because we don’t want to cause any time zone confusion with you Hawaii Redskins fans out there), here’s a brief preview entitled “RGIII: Beat box Remix”.

I can only wonder what that means.

The prime-time special will dive into the life of the Washington Redskins star quarterback from his rookie season to his return to the field during training camp and beyond.

With no football and no special TV events on Tuesday nights, there’s really no reason not to watch the special.

In case you can’t catch it on the 27th or your power just so happens to go out right before you DVR it, there will be two encore showings on August 31st.
