It’s as obvious as saying that I need to drink water to stay alive or that my car needs gas to start, but it’s true. For the Redskins to repeat as NFC East champions in 2013 they’ll need to keep their core away from the sidelines and on the gridiron.
ProFootballTalk’s Mike Florio and Erik Kuselias spoke on the subject along with what will be an encore to Alfred Morris’ unfathomable rookie season.
Florio said the most important thing for Griffin III will be protecting himself from opponents early on.
The resounding sentiment since January about Morris’ preseason rankings both fantasy and real-life can be summed up rather easily—really?
Knowing Morris, the snubbing will not get to his head. Instead, he’ll just let his play on the field be his spokesman. Still though, for those of us who aren’t wearing No. 46 come game days, we are left in bewilderment at his low ranking time and time again.
Kuselias, however, is on the Morris train calling into question the rankings process and bringing up cold, hard statistical proof that he deserves better. It’s not every day a guy can say he rushed for more touchdowns in the season than the league MVP.
You’ve now officially become an expert on these subjects after hearing about them for the 1,387th time this offseason.
Thankfully, training camp l breathe new life.
