As promised, the Washington Redskins are officially on the road to Richmond!

Earlier this morning a few of the guys took to Twitter to share their excitement about packing up and heading down south, but with last minute workouts and final goodbyes to those staying in Ashburn, social media was the last thing on their minds.

But with everything packed and the GPS set to Virginia’s capital, their Twitter accounts have exploded with news of their arrival!

Adam Carriker isn’t one for change—at least when it comes to his passwords.

Excitement Builds For Redskins Camp

Posted by Stephen Czarda on July 23, 2013 – 10:41 am

Jordan Pugh, Christian Ponder

The overwhelming sentiment this morning is pure excitement from what’s in store over the next few weeks.

While Redskins Park opens its doors on a daily basis to the players 365 days a year, the Loudon County facility will resemble that of a high school’s parking lot during summer vacation than that of the home of the burgundy and gold.

Sneak peeks of the evident beauty of the Bon Secours Training Center circulated the Web a few weeks back after the grand opening ceremony and over the next few hours, the players will land in Richmond to get their first glimpses of what they’ll be dealing with starting Thursday.

Here’s just some of what the players have to say.
