For those of you who aren’t on Twitter and haven’t heard the news yet today, Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III gave an update of his training camp status.

Spoiler alert—it is the best offseason news to date.

No word yet on when exactly Griffin III will take the field at full speed, but just hearing the fact that he has been cleared to practice just skyrocketed the anticipation for the 2013 season beyond unthinkable levels.

Griffin III worked out with fellow rehabbing teammates during minicamps and OTAs, but was a spectator during seven-on-seven drills and other practice procedures.

Training camp, however, could be a whole different ballgame.

Twitterverse–don’t forget to send Robert a tweet (@RGIII) letting him know how excited you are about his impending return to the field!
