Doughty Uses 90’s Pop Culture Reference

Posted by Stephen Czarda on June 19, 2013 – 4:20 pm

Eight-year veteran Reed Doughty is one of the longest tenured members of the Burgundy and Gold.

Currently, the University of Northern Colorado product is also the oldest member of the Redskins secondary and after a chat with safety Jordan Bersteine, No. 37 showed his advanced age.

Find out what the eldest safety had to say here:

Ahhh yes, Pokemon and video games, too of my favorite things growing up.

Now I can understand if your just not a fan of video games, Reed, especially after checking out your Twitter picture (@doughty37) of you holding up a rather large fish, but what sort of comeback do you have to Bernstine’s statement?

Once again Doughty showing his age with a Pogs reference.

For those of you who don’t know what Pogs are, it was a game that became popular during the 1990’s where players would play “for keeps” and at the conclusion of the game, the contestant with the most chips would be deemed the winner.

Fun stuff.

Hey maybe Reed can make Pogs popular again this year with his teammates on some of their cross country trips?
