This week’s Social Media Spotlight is presented by social media intern Jared Ross.
As usual, we check in from Redskins Park in Ashburn, Virginia to bring you this week’s Social Media Spotlight. If you missed last week’s Spotlight, make sure to check it out to see kicker Kai Forbath’s photo of Redskins Park from his airplane window, how wide receiver Pierre Garcon anxiously awaits game day, quarterback Robert Griffin III’s return to the football field, and more.
In this week’s Social Media Spotlight, players start to settle back into football mode as they enter their third week of Organized Team Activities (OTAs).
In these past two weeks of OTAs, not only did player’s return to the football field, some returned from injury to join in for a few practice drills.
And now, we present this week’s Social Media Weekly Spotlight. In this week’s edition, we review nose tackle Chris Baker’s grand predictions for the Redskins in 2013, safety Reed Doughty’s trip to Dover International Speedway, defensive lineman Adam Carriker’s poetry, kicker Kai Forbath’s visit to a USA soccer match, and a photo from defensive lineman Jarvis Jenkins‘ last night in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Chris Baker tweeted a photo of brand new Redskins helmets with some very big expectations for the Redskins this year. In his tweets he predicted the Redskins are Super Bowl bound. Do you think he’s on to something? Let us know down below.
Yesterday, Reed Doughty visited Dover International Speedway for NACAR’s annual spring race at the track. Doughty chimed in that he met several racing superstars and even got to catch up with famed Redskins head coach Joe Gibbs.
Now, we’ve come to learn that you never really know what to expect on social media from Adam Carriker. This week, he tweeted quite an interesting poem. Do you think you can top his? Tweet us your favorite fun poetry.
Roses are red. My name is not Dave. This poem makes no sense. Microwave.—

Kai Forbath attended the USA soccer match vs. Germany this past Sunday at the Redskins old stomping grounds, RFK Stadium. He tweeted out the following photo of the game as the US went on to beat Germany 4-3 in a shocker.
We didn’t hear much from Jarvis Jenkins this weekend, and that’s probably because he was visiting one of the world’s most exciting cities, Las Vegas, Nevada. However, his final night there he sent out this beautiful photo of his view of Las Vegas.
