Over the next week, the Washington Redskins Cheerleaders will be providing behind-the-scenes access and first-hand-accounts of their 2013 Calendar photo shoot in tropical Costa Rica.
For the fifth photo shoot diary entry, we check in with Stephanie, who is entering her second year as Redskins Cheerleader. She is ready to make Redskins Nation proud again:
Hola from beautiful Costa Rica!
I started my day bright and early at 5 am when we headed out to watch some shoots at a waterfall. After a morning of shooting, I rode back to the hotel to get ready for my shoot.
I was really glad to be working with Michele, the body paint artist, for the second year in a row.
This was also my second year to have a Redskins themed shoot, which is always exciting!
I got prepped in hair and makeup, and then Michele began the one and a half-hour process of body painting me with the giant redskins “R” and football stitching to match my football prop.
I shot in an area with tall grass and brush near the ocean where I did a bunch of different poses incorporating the football.
I loved getting to shoot in a more rustic area of the Costa Rican coast; the view from our resort is like nothing I have ever seen!
The waves rolling in and the mountains in the background as the sun began to set on another day in Costa Rica, was a wonderful finish to my day!
