In case you have yet to hear, Northern Iowa wide receiver Terrell Sinkfield is the talk of the town. The small-school receiver from Northern Iowa reportedly ran the 40-yard dash in 4.19 seconds at a pro day held Monday at the University of Minnesota. Read the full story here.
According to the article, Sinkfield, a 6-1 192 pound wideout, was clocked at a blazing 4.27 seconds on his first attempt. His second attempt was faster at 4.19 and, in an attempt to try and prove doubters wrong, ran again but “reportedly stumbled on the third attempt” running a 4.44.
Long story short, the man can run, averaging a 4.3 second 40-yard dash in three attempts. Here’s the video of the reported 4.19 40-yard dash attempt.
Now, we can admit that the man is fast but is he faster than former Redskins defensive back Darrell Green?
Here’s a glimpse of the four-time winner of the NFL’s Fastest Man competition at the ripe age of 40. Green reportedly ran a 4.2 second 40-yard dash in this video.
Who’s faster? You be the judge.

I’m looking at a clipping from the Washington Post Redskins Insider dated 2/16/10. D.G. celebrated his 50th birthday by running a 4.43. The man was Superman FAST. Dieon Sanders eat your heart out.
I also remember reading that Charley Taylor never came in 2nd in a wind sprint.
