I would love to see him with the skins...as a guy that played undersized in HS i have a soft spot for short guy that have big play ability. I was a huge fan of him back in 2011 and i was sad to see him mess up. I feel as tho he is getting himself together and he will be a GREAT asset for our secondary. can't teach natural playmaking ability

With Orakpo coming back, our pass rush will alone make our secondary better. That being said, Mathieu is a 1st round talent that we could acquire for almost nothing. Otherwise we are left with second tiered talent (Remeber Justin Tyron or how about Dejon Gomes now?) and we will be looking at another second tiered dback for the next 2 years. We cant afford one in FA and we dont have a 1st rd pick to use. Might as well take a chance on him in either the 2nd or 3rd rd - Let Tanard Jackson start at Safety, resign DHall (I know everyone hates him - but he wil re structure and we need him) Merriweather is coming back who we all know, if he can stay healthy should be a pro bowl caliber player in the skins scheme and then add a nickle guy like Mathieu who has the ball skills AND SHINED IN THE SEC!!! Heisman candidate as a dback and underclassmen? I think hes worth a shot. We can grab a quality Lineman in the 3rd to add depth. This way we will be drafting the best available throughout the entire draft by starting with Mathieu...Remember, Shanny drafted MAurice Clarett in the 3rd rd...dont think he wont take Mathieu in the 2nd.

NO DOUGHT THE HONEY BADGER IS GIFTED,HOWEVER HE HAS AN ISSUE IN HIS CHARACTER THAT IS DETRIMENTAL TO HIS HEALTH AND HOW FOCUSED WILL HE BE ? SUBSTANCE ABUSE TOUCHES MORE THEN THE INDIVIDUAL THAT USES THEM.OVER AN EXTENDED PERIOD ,DRUGS WILL CONTRIBUTE TO A LACK OF CONCENTRATION,MISSED MEETINGS,MISSED COVERAGE ASSIGNMENTS AND ANGER PROBLEMS.THINK HARD ABOUT THE TYPE OF CULTURE YOU ALLOW TO INFILTRATE THE GREATEST GAME ON TURF!

I'm not sure. Being we are limited with draft picks this year and our cap issues, we need to draft as close as we can get to a sure thing and a good fit for our team, as we can!! Maybe it's the "honeybadger", idk..

I would personally love it if The Redskins drafted the Honey Badger. What he lacks in size he makes up for in explosive play making. The guy always seems to be around the football. As for his substance abuse issues, I think he would get a reality check real quick from the leaders we have on defense if Mathieu were to slip up. We tend to have a little history with some of our players violating the league's substance abuses policy but in the end they learned and Mathieu should also from not only his but their mistakes as well. The Honey Badger is definitely worth the risk! Mathieu would look to sweet in Burgundy and Gold. HTTR!
