For the life of me I don’t understand what the shannys see in Royster. He might break a tackle every third run, but most of the time he looks like he is running in sand. With all due respect, there has to be a more explosive runner on some teams practice squad, or coming out in the late rounds this year. With Helu coming back, I say don’t move him anywhere but off of the roster.

This guy shouldn’t be moved anywhere but off the roster. For the life of me, I don’t see what the Shannys see in him. He is not explosive, he might break a tackle every third carry, but most of the time he looks like he is running in sand. Every time I see him in the game, I get nauseous. Please, with all of the explosive running backs out there, and with Helu coming back, there is no need for a 3 yrd, fall down back on this offense.

He seems much better attacking the line of scrimmage than in pass protection. Yes, he is small, but hey – people have redefined positions like this before. He could back up Kerrigan (replacing Wilson) and play on passing downs as a blitzer. That would free up the FS and SS spots for new draftees.
