Fans Wish Griffin III Happy Birthday

Yesterday quarterback Robert Griffin III celebrated his 23rd birthday and with the help of twitter Redskins’ fans were able to wish the rookie phenom a happy birthday. It goes without saying that Griffin Mania has taken the DMV and yesterday fans showed their love for Griffin III.

One family showed their support by participating in the act of “Griffining”

Others celebrated by having some birthday cake decorated in Griffin III’s honor

One fan tweeted Griffin III a happy birthday, and let him know he has his own street.

Some well known celebrities also offered Griffin III well wishes.

Rapper and Washington D.C. native Wale gave a shout out.

In addition to wishing Griffin III happy birthday, countless fans wished him a speedy recover from his surgery this offseason.

After just one season in the National Football League Griffin III won AP Rookie of the Year and helped lead his team to an NFC East division title. It’s no surprise that his success and electrifying play has contributed to him building quite the fan base.

After all the excitement that Griffin III provided the fans this season, they made sure to do their part in helping make his 23rd birthday a happy one indeed.

When his birthday was over Griffin III made sure to thank the fans and let them know that he feels the love.
