Welcome to your weekly Redskins Social Media Spotlight, where we highlight the trendy topics and social media campaigns going on this week in Redskins Nation. Check it out and make suggestions below.
Last week we previewed the 2013 Pro Bowl in Honolulu, Hawaii by showing you how the Redskins players were spending their time preparing for the NFC/AFC Showdown. As many of you already know the NFC won by a score of 62-35 – 62 points is the highest scoring output by any one team, surpassing last year’s AFC total of 59 points. Anyway, here’s how the Redskins players represented along with their reactions following the game:
LB Lorenzo Alexander: Led the NFC team with 5 total tackles and 1 tackle for a loss:
S/o to redskin nation for the constant love.—

LB London Fletcher: 2nd on the NFC side with 4 total tackles:
LB Ryan Kerrigan: 2 total tackles
As you know, today marks the beginning of a week of Super Bowl XLVII coverage. National talking heads from across the country will join forces to over-analyze every possible aspect of the matchup between the Harbaugh brother’s and gut-wrenchingly focus on the San Francisco 49ers and the Baltimore Ravens. We, however, will not do that.
Instead, Redskins.com’s Brian Tinsman will be on sight in New Orleans where he will connect with RB Alfred Morris to bring you exclusive content from this year’s big game. Stay on the lookout for Redskins coverage from the Big Easy.
Obviously, the intent of this weekly Redskins Social Media Spotlight is not to enlighten you with facts and statistics that blow your mind, yet instead to enhance the feeling of camaraderie amongst Redskins Nation.
Our goal is to give you all a unique perspective on how Redskins players are spending their time away from Redskins Park and keep you up-to-date with social media contests/promotions. So here it is.
