When everything was on the line, the Washington Redskins turned to their young leader to guide them to their first NFC East title since 1999.
Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III orchestrated that performance last Sunday in Washington’s 28-18 victory over the Dallas Cowboys, a win-or-go-home matchup that led to Sunday’s Wild Card Round playoff game against the Seattle Seahawks at FedExField.
Griffin III was mic’d up for this critical NFC East championship game for NFL Films and the league’s show, “Sound FX,” much like middle linebacker London Fletcher was in this year’s Monday Night Football game vs. the New York Giants.
The Griffin III video is below; but first, here’s some of my personal favorites from the quarterback in this game:

There weren’t many people at FedExField last Sunday who felt bad for Tony Romo.
But after Romo threw three interceptions in the 28-18 loss to the Redskins — including a pick late in the fourth quarter to outside linebacker Rob Jackson that led to Washington’s final touchdown — the Dallas Cowboys quarterback had at least one supporter wearing burgundy and gold.

Ever wanted to ask Josh Wilson what it was like to pick off Tony Romo in Sunday’s NFC East championship game?
Or why he carries around his father’s NFL trading card?
What about asking him how he became the top football student-athlete in the Atlantic Coast Conference during his time at Maryland?
Well, you have the chance to ask the Redskins cornerback these questions and more with this week’s reddit “Ask Me Anything” (AMA), which will be happening around 3:30 p.m. tomorrow.
Participating is easy:

It wasn’t quite good enough schtick to be a segment on MTV’s “Punk’d,” but Robert Griffin III pulled one on Mike Shanahan today.
The rookie quarterback sat in on his head coach’s weekly press conference at Redskins Park, and even took to the microphone to ask Shanahan a question.

There’s many, many NFL experts and analysts who have spent their Holiday season eating crow about how they believed the 2012 season would turn out for the Washington Redskins.
Though we at the Redskins Blog are in the process of recovering some of those same experts’ predictions from weeks and months ago, it’s also worth bringing up those who have admitted when they were wrong.
NFL.com Around The League editor Gregg Rosenthal did just that yesterday.
