How can the Redskins’ secondary improve this time around against the Dallas Cowboys?
The three-man crew at the NFL Network’s “Playbook” explored this very topic this week.
Though the crew of Brian Baldinger, Sterling Sharpe and former Redskins quarterback Donovan McNabb each felt the Redskins would come out victorious in their matchup tomorrow night vs. the Cowboys, they pointed to a few areas of improvement to focus on for the Redskins’ defense in the video above:

Well this just got nasty.
It’s not very often that NFL players or alumni speak positively about illegal hits in football, even on their opponents. Aside from it coming off as barbaric or in poor taste, it also violates the honor code that most players operate under of playing whistle to whistle within the general framework of the rules.
And then there is former Cowboys All-Pro receiver Drew Pearson, who took to the airwaves this week to advocate cheap shots on Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III, if it aided his team in victory.

The Washington Redskins on Sunday play host to the Dallas Cowboys at FedExField. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
FedExField is an open-concept stadium with a natural-grass playing surface. The stadium seats 85,000.
The Redskins on Sunday are looking to clinch their first playoff appearance since the 2007 season. Washington also defeated Dallas, 27-6, at the end of that season to clinch their playoff berth.
Washington enters the game at 9-6 following their 27-20 victory against the Philadelphia Eagles last Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field. The Eagles took an early 7-0 lead in the first quarter before the Redskins scored all 27 points in the second and third quarters, and then held off the Eagles at the end. Washington’s first two scores came via Kai Forbath field goals, as the kicker broke the NFL record for consecutive field goals to begin a career (17).

If Madden NFL 13’s projection of tomorrow night’s Redskins-Cowboys game is accurate, Washington will be celebrating an NFC East title and playoff berth late tomorrow night.
ESPN.com ran a simulation of tomorrow’s night’s game, and the Redskins came out on top, 31-26, to win the divisional title and earn a home playoff game.
Here’s some notes from the Madden 13 simulation:

One of the more popular aspects of NBC’s “Sunday Night Football” are its introductions of the starters during the first quarter.
Instead of simply showing a graphic listing the player’s photo, position, uniform number and college attended, NBC’s “Sunday Night Football” comes to the team’s facility in the week leading up to the game and films the starters actually saying their names and schools out loud.
The NBC crew was at Redskins Park on Thursday filming the Washington players for their introductions, and we were there to get some behind-the-scenes footage of our own.
It’s actually a pretty fascinating process.
