Who’s ready to do their best London Fletcher impression?

The Redskins’ veteran middle linebacker is known for his fiery pregame speeches, and you can bet he’ll have a good one ready Sunday night when Washington plays host to the Dallas Cowboys in the final battle for the NFC East crown.

Those who can send us THEIR Cowboys pregame speech, however, can find themselves with tickets to the big game.

Participate in our “Redskins Pregame Pep Talk Contest” and YOU could win a pair of tickets or other awesome Redskins prizes.

Here’s how to get involved:

– First, be sure to “like” the Redskins on Facebook.
– Then, click here to enter the “Redskins Pregame Pep Talk Contest” and enter your best 15-20-second pregame speech.
– Judging for the contest ends Friday at noon.

Contest prizes include:

Grand Prize: The five (5) Grand Prize winners will receive two (2) tickets to see the Redskins take on the Cowboys in the season finale at FedExField on Sunday.

Second Prize: The second prize winner will receive an autographed full-sized helmet from Fletcher.

Third Prize: The third prize winner will receive an autographed photo from Fletcher.

Need some inspiration? Check out this video of Fletcher firing up the troops prior to their win vs. the New York Giants Dec. 3 on Monday Night Football:

We’ll be featuring some of the better submissions here on the Redskins Blog, too.

Good luck!

I’ve been a Redskin Fan for almost 50 years. Not a “fair weather fan” but a die- hard never give up fan. The last several years have been tough but I always fly my colors and support the team no matter what. This year is special. This year is different. This year we not only have talent but more importantly character. Young new talent has stepped up when needed most. Veteran players have shown leadership and shared experience that have inspired the whole team. Every player has played for each team member like they don’t want to let the players, the coaches or the fans down. The coaching staff has been incredible never quitting, developing plays and variations of plays that no team can figure out. They expect you to run and you pass, they expect you to pass and you run, they expect one defense and you change up and leave them scratching their heads wondering what the hell to do. Success comes to those who wait and “work like hell” while they wait. The waiting is over. The time is now. Win for yourselves, win for the coaches and win for the fans. “HAIL”

RESPECT !!!! This is our time, we don’t get respect from anyone outside of Redskins Nation …the League disrespected us, the media, the game announcers !!!! Lets show them why we deserve RESPECT !!! We will make them RESPECT us tonight in our house !!! One…Two…Three…..RESPECT !!!!

It is going to be “Hailing” tonight when we make our entrance upon FedEx Field! It is up to each one of us to give the Fans something to “Hail” about on Sunday Night. Our goal…give the Cowboys “Hail”. When we win the NFC East, Goals Done will be Goals Won!

Planning to see smiles up in those stands tonight and it will feel good for us to smile too!

There is a time to weep and a time to laugh. A time to rest and a time to play some football. We’ve beat them once and we will do it again. I want a full 60 minutes.
    This is our time.
Look at how far we have come since our Bye week.
We take care of Dallas we win the division.
There is no one that is going to stop us. No one.
    We will dominate this game.
Dominate on three, one, two, three. “DOMINATE”

Our day has come to show all those naysayers the Washington Redskins are everything they thought we weren’t and prove to them we are back with the vengeance to take back what is rightfully ours, fulfilling our destiny as the NFC East Division Champions!! Crush the Cowboys!!

Men, this is our house. We worked too hard, waited too long, to stop now. In ’79 they knocked us out of the playoffs at their place by 1 point. (35-34) They had the audacity to toss a funeral wreath in our locker room after the game. This time it is our turn to return the funeral wreath to them after we dominate and win. 53 men, working together, with our great fans, can’t lose. It is our time, our place, our destiny, to go on. It is their time to go home with nothing. Dominate for 60 minutes. Focus for 60 minutes. Do whatever it takes, just win baby. 7 in a row, Redskins on 3. GO SKINS!

It started at the team’s first meeting. Many new things were implemented. Coaches, offense, defense and of course new players. It wasn’t pretty at the beginning, but as we worked through the growing pains and the injuries, you, the players, rallied. You filled in when needed and picked each other up when someone went down. You matured as individuals and became a team. A team where legends are made and will continue to be made. A TEAM WE CALL THE WASHINGTON REDSKINS!!!! Don’t look back, tonight’s game is the start of a new dynasty and nothing else matters. NOW LETS GO KICK SOME COWBOYS ASS!!!!!!!!!

Great Comments by Steve Huffman. Like Steve, I have not been a “Fair Weather” Fan either. I too felt at the beginning of the year this Season felt different. There are “Men of Character” coaching and playing on this Team. There are no “I’s” this year. I am confident that good things are coming for this Squad for many Games to come!

Riding High over Dallas in New York and still “Hailing” about being 1st in the NFC East!
