When he first got into the league, Washington Redskins linebacker/athlete/special teams ace Lorenzo Alexander would go out on the town after wins to relax.
Now, winding down after a win means dinner with the family, an episode of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” with his own wife and bed.
Alexander talked about this and several other topics today in his reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything), the third in a series of AMAs by Redskins players in recent weeks.
Here’s a recap of some of the better AMA questions for Alexander today with his answers:
jbreyfogle asks: “How do you celebrate a win?”
Alexander: “Im pretty low key [these] days. When I first got in the league I may have went out but now my wife and maybe some [family] will go out to eat and eventually end up at home watching the newest episode of [Atlanta] house wives.”
Shebrewberry asks: “Would you rather fight 100 duck sized horses or one horse sized duck?”
Alexander: “I would rather stomp out the horses”
kronicfeld asks: “If you had to choose, would you rather be a league superstar on special teams or an above-average but more “situational” player on the defensive squad?”
Alexander: “So if I had to choose [between] both of my roles now? Special Teams Superstar”
Tiep0 asks: “Where is the best place to go in Washington?”
Alexander: “To eat I love Rasika, MLK monument to see at night, and the [Newseum], CAPs game are pretty exciting too (end the lock out)”
Nubboi asks: “What has been your favorite memory with the Redskins so far?”
Alexander: “When I was on Practice squad and was able to drive Gibbs’ new corvette”
Awesome questions and answers.
