Like a hit new song, the Washington Redskins continue to slowly climb up the charts.

The Redskins — winners of two straight games — play host to the New York Giants in tonight’s crucial NFC East Division matchup, and hope to use the platform of a nationally-televised, Monday Night Football game to improve their standing in various organizations’ Power Rankings lists.

For now, though, here’s where the Redskins fall with this week’s Power Rankings Roundup:

The Redskins moved up two spots to 16th in this week’s AP Pro 32 poll:

CBSSports.com — which bumped up the Redskins seven spots last week — bumped them up another four spots this week:

The Redskins are slowly rising in ESPN.com’s power rankings. This week, they come in at No. 17:

FoxSports.com’s Brian Billick moved the Redskins up to 16th overall in his list:

NFL.com analyst Elliot Harrison bumped up the Redskins three spots to No. 16 overall, though I’m not sure what he’s talking about towards the end of his ranking. The Redskins’ receivers had one brutal game — at Pittsburgh — but haven’t really struggled since:

ProFootballTalk.com/NBC this week continues to drone on about Redskins’ head coach Mike Shanahan’s “evaluation” comments after the Carolina Panthers game:

Sports Illustrated and columnist Don Banks thinks Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III could wrap up the Rookie of the Year race with a win tonight against the Giants:
