Redskins Players Celebrate Thanksgiving

Posted by Andrew Walker on November 22, 2012 – 1:38 pm

The Washington Redskins have arrived at the massive Cowboys Stadium for today’s Thanksgiving Day matchup with the Dallas Cowboys.

The Redskins players seemed amped and ready to go this morning at the hotel and on the team bus as it unloaded into the locker room. With a holiday matchup on national TV with tons riding on the game, you can certainly see why.

Here’s some tweets by the Redskins players today that acknowledge both Thanksgiving and today’s huge game against the Cowboys:

Quarterback Robert Griffin III:

Wide receiver Leonard Hankerson:

Defensive lineman Chris Baker:

Safety Jordan Pugh:

Offensive lineman Chris Chester:

Running back Alfred Morris:

Outside linebacker Mario Addison:

Linebacker Keenan Robinson:

Outside linebacker Chris Wilson:

Middle linebacker Perry Riley:

Wide receiver Pierre Garcon:

Kicker Kai Forbath:

This team has a lot of high-character, good guys.

I’m falling in love with this team.

It was great seeing so many smiles after the game…and it felt darn good to smile in New York too! Just came back from Black Friday shopping and of course I had all of my Redskins apparel on. Just couldn’t help myself as I was so proud of the Redskins after their BIG win over Dallas! I have been confident all along that this team would come together and win and here they are…back in possible playoff contention. All of the negative comments saying we have to get rid of this player or that coach will soon be coming to an end. This team is playing their hearts out, so now it is up to the 12 man on the field to be supportive…US!
