#WASvsDAL: Third Quarter Thoughts
Posted by on November 22, 2012 – 7:11 pmThe Dallas Cowboys got things started in the second half much like they did in the first half: with a field goal.
But with the Redskins bringing a 28-3 lead into the second half, field goals weren’t going to get the job done. They did get a huge 85-yard touchdown play in the third quarter, but the Redskins still hold a commanding lead.
Heading into the fourth quarter, the Redskins lead the Cowboys, 28-13.

Posted by on November 22, 2012 – 6:06 pmThe second quarter of today’s game between the Washington Redskins and the Dallas Cowboys began with a boom: a 68-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Robert Griffin III to wide receiver Aldrick Robinson. It was the third huge passing touchdown play by Griffin III in two weeks, as he also had two bombs last Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles.
It wasn’t the last of the Redskins’ fireworks this quarter.

YOU PICK: Who Shines Vs. Cowboys?
Posted by on November 22, 2012 – 9:37 amThe Washington Redskins (4-6) today travel to play the Dallas Cowboys (5-5), and, like last week’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles, lots is on the line for both teams.
The Redskins and the Cowboys are still within reach of the NFC East-leading New York Giants (6-4), who next play on Sunday against the Green Bay Packers. The Redskins then play the Giants on Monday Night Football on Dec. 3.
A loss for either the Redskins and the Cowboys today, and the mathematical odds for a run at a playoff spot just go down the tubes.
Just like last week against the Eagles — a 31-6 win — look for all of the Redskins players to be going out today with an added sense of urgency, which could lead to some huge individual performances. So here’s your chance to break out the old crystal ball and predict which Washington player will shine vs. the Cowboys:
