The Washington Redskins (3-6) today play host to the Philadelphia Eagles (3-6) with lots on the line for both teams.
Despite not getting off to the best of starts, the Redskins and the Eagles trail the NFC East-leading New York Giants (6-4) by just two games in the loss column heading into today’s action. A win for Washington or Philadelphia certainly doesn’t put either team in the playoffs at this point, but it certainly can begin to plant that seed.
A loss, meanwhile, and the mathematical odds for a run at a playoff spot just, well, aren’t good.
Look for all of the Redskins players to be going out today with an added sense of urgency, which could lead to some huge individual performances. So here’s your chance to break out the old crystal ball and predict which Washington player will shine vs.
