RG3! RG3! RG3! Without doubt, our rookie phenom will be the focus of the discussion at the next taping of my TV show, “Burgundy & Gold Magazine,” at Branded 72 Pit Barbecue at 387 East Gude Drive in Rockville on Monday, Nov. 12.
The taping was rescheduled from Oct. 29, when the threat of Hurricane Sandy loomed over the entire East Coast.
I’ll be joined by former Redskins superstar wide receiver Roy Jefferson, just selected as one of the “10 for 80,” the 10 new names added to the Redskins’ 80 greatest list announced this year in honor of the franchise’s 80th anniversary. WTOP ace Redskins beat reporter George Wallace also will be there, as well as my super special guest: SuperSkin! That amazing Redskins mascot is one of a kind! Several Redskinettes also plan to come.
Past guests on “B&G Magazine” include Redskin greats Dexter Manley, Charles Mann, George Starke, Ken Harvey, Brian Mitchell and Ron McDole.

In addition to RG3 and a recap of the first nine games before the Bye Week, the panel will speculate on the second half of the season. Will the Redskins make the playoffs facing a tough NFC East schedule down the homestretch? We’ll discuss that, too.
The taping is from 7 to 7:30 p.m., but arrive early because Branded 72’s bar area, which features three large-screen TVs, will be filling up fast. Click here to check out their menu.
Hope to see you there. It’s going to be a fun evening!
