The Redskins were eyeing a 4-4 record when they trailed the Lions by 21 points in the third quarter at the Silverdome on Nov. 4, 1990.
But Jeff Rutledge, a journeyman quarterback, replaced Stan Humphries and played the game of his life.

The Washington Redskins today were able to use their indoor practice facility for the first time as the backdrop for their annual team photo.
The entire team photo process is pretty interesting. The two-man crew from VSN Photography got in this morning around 6:45 a.m. began setting up the chairs and risers, as well as a multitude of photography equipment, such as cameras, lights and flashes.
By the way, Larry and Joel from VSN Photography are obviously pros at this. They said they travel the country around this time each year and take other NFL teams’ photos. We sure hope they have their best experience here in Washington.
