Gallery: Alumni Arive; Help Out In D.C.
Posted by on November 5, 2012 – 3:45 pmThe annual Washington Redskins Homecoming festivities are far more than what is seen before and during the game on Sunday.
It’s an opportunity for the former Redskins greats to visit old friends at the facility in the week leading up to the game and also do a little community work while they’re at it.
This time, the Redskins Alumni helped build a playground in Washington, D.C. That night, they met again for the Homecoming Alumni Reception — a night full of memories and good friends. Oh yeah, and football.

Arrington Proud Of His Redskins Roots
Posted by on November 5, 2012 – 12:04 pmLaVar Arrington has never been shy about letting his feelings known; so when he says something, he means it.
Arrington — whose “10 For 80″ distinction by the Redskins cements his name among the greatest players in team history — spoke to the Redskins Blog Saturday night at the Redskins Homecoming Alumni Reception in Washington, D.C. Arrington was one of more than 150 Redskins alumni to visit over the weekend.
“It’s very humbling,” Arrington said. “It’s just nice to be in the midst, nice to be a part of something like this. I’m happy and elated to be here — just elated.”
