Carrikers Welcome Trinity To The World

A Redskins’ wife has given birth for the second time this week.

First, it was offensive lineman Tyler Polumbus and wife, Elizabeth, whose daughter, Lydia, was born on Monday.

Early this morning, it was defensive end Adam Carriker, whose wife, Angie, gave birth to their daughter, Trinity.

Carriker tweeted this out this morning:

Like Polumbus, Carriker also gave everybody a heads up via Twitter that his wife was about to go into labor. He tweeted this Wednesday night at 7:57 p.m.:

This makes child No. 3 for Adam and Angie — well, it’s Angie’s fourth child, if you count Adam.

Carriker — who suffered a season-ending injury to his quad-tendon Week 2 against the St. Louis Rams — has devoted several tweets this year to how protective he’ll be of his daughter. This one, for example, was a classic:
