Redskins Check In After Hurricane Sandy

Washington Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan joked with reporters yesterday that he hoped he wouldn’t find the team’s brand new indoor training facility — known by many as “the bubble” — rolling along State Road 267 after being blown away during Hurricane Sandy.
Fortunately, that actually didn’t end up happening, as long snapper Nick Sundberg reported today:
Haha I haven't made the track out to the bubble but it's on higher ground. It looked fine on my drive in this morning.—

Sundberg also tweeted out the above photo of the Redskins’ practice fields, and you can see the heavy rains that moved through the area the last couple days definitely left their mark. The team doesn’t really use its AstroTurf practice field much, and if the grass ends up being too soggy tomorrow for practice, it will likely move things indoors to begin preparations for the Carolina Panthers.
Several other Redskins players took to Twitter before, during and after Hurricane Sandy to report what they were seeing, thinking and experiencing:

Hey guys, let’s get physical offensively and especially defensively, pressure pressure and more pressure on the quarterback! Jam, I repeat jam all receivers at the line of scrimmage. Do not, do not let anyone get off the line clean and be able to go where ever they want. Wrap up and tackle someone.

Still no improvement with the defense….i think jim hasslet need to put chris baker nd barry colfield in there at the same time to push dat o-line back more …i know they both nose tackle but i believe they can put more pressure on the qb..just try it nd see what happens…cause right now i only see ryan karrigan as a threat nd he be getting double team alot…
