Why a random photo of a microphone and Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III?
Because Griffin III has been beatboxing again.
Griffin III had a series of national interviews yesterday, appearing several times on ESPN and he was the subject of an Associated Press feature piece. But it was his yet-to-be-aired interview on the NFL Network’s “NFL GameDay Morning” that we’ll poke a little fun at.
The rookie has already displayed his beatboxing skills for a national audience at least once this year, having done so on “The Tonight Show” in mid-May. He was at it again when asked to do so by the NFL Network’s Melissa Stark, and we have the video right here.
First, Griffin III talked about his beatboxing background:
“The beatboxing thing, my family is pretty good at beatboxing. I don’t know where I learned it from, but I was pretty good at it. My dad always laughs whenever I do it. So, you know, just something simple (beatboxes). I’ve got some deals lined up.”
And here’s the video:
Griffin III’s full interview on “NFL GameDay Morning” will air at 9 a.m. Sunday on the NFL Network.
