Vegas had the Washington Redskins as favorites for the first time in three weeks last Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings, and Sin City was correct.
Let’s hope this week they’re wrong.
The Redskins (3-3) are 7.5-point underdogs today as they travel to the Big Apple to take on the defending Super Bowl champion New York Giants (4-1).
It’s a pretty drastic spread against a team that has been in every game this season and could very well be 5-1 at this point, and many experts seem to agree — although they don’t see the Redskins pulling off the upset.
Spoiler alert: just less than nine percent of the analysts below are predicting the Redskins will be victorious today:

ESPN.com, for the first time all year, is unanimously picking — all 14 of its experts — against the Redskins:
FoxSports.com always lists the spread and, if applicable, places teams they think will cover the spread in parenthesis. All four of their experts think the Redskins will lose, but three of the four think Washington will cover the spread, meaning the game could be a lot closer than some are projecting:

Sports Illustrated columnist Peter King thinks the Giants will be too much, but that the Redskins will show something in the game. Ahh, the good old moral victory:
