Watch Griffin III’s Run Over And Over

Posted by Andrew Walker on October 15, 2012 – 10:43 am

Will Robert Griffin III’s 76-yard touchdown run yesterday against the Minnesota Vikings go down in history as one of the most memorable plays in Washington Redskins history?

It’s too early to tell, but one thing is certain: the play is the talk of the sports world today, at least.

Griffin III’s scamper on 3rd and 6 late in the fourth quarter killed any momentum the Vikings were gaining and put the finishing touches on the Redskins’ 38-26 win at FedExField.

Now you can watch the play over and over (above .GIF courtesy of SB Nation).

Well, so much for the prognosticating 2-14 scoffers.

Now to put the 4-12 pundits to sleep. Hail to the REDSKINS, and RGIII. Best QB I’ve seen since SAMMY BAUGH – bar none.

GRIFFIN isn’t going to establish the pass first game in the NFL, intercept 31 passes, or punt for a 51.4 average in a season, but he’s going to be just as great as ‘Slingin’ SAMMY’ as a pure QB.

How wonderful, magnificent speed. Everyone who supports redskins should be overjoyed. What a great pick they got. He completes the team. Lots of great players and I am happy to see them working together for the good of the team.

RGIII is simply amazing. He doesn’t just play his role as a QB, but he is an inspiration to so many of his teammates and other teams in the NFL. He is 110% committed to his team and his job, but he also is a class act. It’s so exciting to see the Redskins as a true team this year and I hope this continues for a very long time 🙂

I have been watching this non stop. I said in the begining, and I’ll say it again…he was worth the trade with the rams. HTTR!

The Vikings thought that they were playing a rookie with no heart . One announcer said that he had spoken to the Vikings D. line & backs ” quoting them as saying ” We hit people ( barely legally)- thats what we do & we are going to tatoo him.” Next thing, WHAM 76 yards at 4.2 sec. speed & a stake in the Viking heart.

They came for a kid and ran into a warrior, who brings out the warrior in his whole team.

RG111 has the whole package & the heart of a lion.

Finally we got the golden ticket in the draft.

The Vikings came expecting a fragile rookie & ran into a warrior who can motivate his whole team.

We finally got the golden ticket in the draft.

i was dead-set against giving up the house in the draft for RGIII, but I was dead-wrong. It’ll take years to recover those picks and re-build a solid D-secondary, but GRIFFIN makes it worthwhile.
