Will Robert Griffin III’s 76-yard touchdown run yesterday against the Minnesota Vikings go down in history as one of the most memorable plays in Washington Redskins history?
It’s too early to tell, but one thing is certain: the play is the talk of the sports world today, at least.
Griffin III’s scamper on 3rd and 6 late in the fourth quarter killed any momentum the Vikings were gaining and put the finishing touches on the Redskins’ 38-26 win at FedExField.
Now you can watch the play over and over (above .GIF courtesy of SB Nation).

There was lots to celebrate last night as nearly 80,000 happy fans filed out of FedExField.
The Washington Redskins used a solid all-around effort to defeat the Minnesota Vikings 38-26. The win pushed the Redskins to 3-3 on the young season and gave the team some all-important momentum heading into Sunday’s game against the New York Giants — the team’s NFC East Division opener.
Perhaps most importantly for the fans, however, was that the win also snapped an eight-game losing streak by the Redskins at FedExField. For whatever reason, the home-field advantage hadn’t been too kind to the Redskins for the past year or so, but the win against the Vikings is hopefully the first of many home wins for the rest of the season.
There were several cheers and chants as the fans left the stadium, but the Redskins Marching Band gave them a show.
Check out this video (via MarshallJohnson on YouTube) of the drumline gettin’ down:

It’s that time of the day where your stomach is growling and you’re constantly looking at the clock.
I know from experience — it’s happening to me right now.
So, because the Redskins offense scored more than 20 points in yesterday’s win against the Minnesota Vikings, you can have a free six-inch sub from Subway, courtesy of the restaurant and the Washington Redskins.
To participate (you need to use it at participating Subway restaurants in the greater Washington, D.C., area), click on the photo above and print out the coupon, which gets you a free six-inch sub with the purchase of a 30 oz. drink and a bag of chips.
The offer is only good the day after home games in which the Redskins score 20 or more points — so escape from the office early and grab some lunch on us.

Your eye on the Redskins sidelines was there with his camera ready to go in Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings.
ExtremeSkins.com’s Brian Murphy was patrolling the sidelines and got several great shots of the game that you can’t find elsewhere.
