Kerrigan Responds To ‘C’Mon Man!’ Nod

Washington Redskins outside linebacker Ryan Kerrigan on Monday night was the subject of ridicule on ESPN’s Monday Night Countdown’s popular feature “C’Mon Man!”

ESPN anchor Chris “Boomer” Berman apparently took exception to Kerrigan’s decision to jump into the FedExField stands after scoring on a 28-yard interception return off Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan.

The act that is affectionately known as the “Landover Leap” in these parts was referred to as the “FedEx Flop” by Boomer on ESPN.

Kerrigan issued the following statement in response to his “C’Mon Man!” debut:

“I regret that the Redskins fans had to witness myself in their beloved burgundy and gold on ESPN Monday Night Countdown’s weekly feature “C’Mon Man!”

I’m terribly embarrassed for the team, the fans and my family.

Moving forward, I will choose to launch all 260 pounds of my Redskins heft into at least the third row, subjecting myself and others to harm so that this incident does not repeat itself.

Hail To The Redskins,
Ryan Kerrigan #91″

Those that can do, do; those that can’t, talk about it! Give the guy a break!

If there ever was a “C’mon Man!”, it would be for the fact the Chris Berman is still iin the business

Really Chris? Let us see you try to hop your fat a** into the first row. C’mon man.

Berman is just mad that he can’t get his fat a** up over that wall. Kerrigan made a great play and deserves to do that.

Who cares what Berman’s loud self thinks ? He is the epitome of everything that is wrong with “Mothership”/espn…and I had to dig on Kerrigan’s response to what he said. HTOR !!!!!

What the hell is wrong with that? He deserves it. If anything it should be Matt Ryan on CMON MAN for throwing the ball right into Kerrigan.

Ryan Kerrigan can Landover Leap into my row anytime he wants to.

Ryan Kerrigan is one of the best things that has happened to the Skins. His defensive work is outstanding and he deserves to celebrate in a time-honored way. Lay off Berman! Go Boilers.

It sucks that a talentless buffoon like Berman can’t see the greatness in a player like Kerrigan. Not only has my team struggled with a terrible record but idiots like Berman continue to take shots at the up and coming great players like Kerrigan. Anyone with half a brain that actually watched that game knows that RG3 had a good chance at winning that game had he not taken that shoulder to the head. Which I have seen other teams get flagged for that same hit.

I think Berman needs to lay of the duex duex duex’s.

Ryan, keep jumping, man! Petty people will always be around to be critical of that which they either can’t do or don’t understand! You are a great player! Never forget from Whom all blessings flow! Boiler Up!

    Berman is the ESPN EGGHEAD!

It’s amazing that when a great and upcoming player like Kerrigan does the leap it’s a problem to Bergman, but when it’s a big fat slobb in Green Bay that does it, it’s ok. The Redskin never deserve to have fun bergman regardless of you or any of your screw things. Hail to the Redskins.

it’s a freakin’ joke segment….calm down guys….it’s not like berman said anything about his game

all chris has to do is pick his own ‘C’ mon man and not let the DORKS in the back room do it, chris you blew this one

    Hey, it’s the RALJON leap.

Would look even better if he was jumping into a packed R.F.K.

Nonetheless, it was one Hell of a play, and you fans are right. He damn well deserved to celebrate.

ESPN and the like are always going to bash and/or not give any credit to the REDSKINS. They don’t want to, be it that our team’s name offends some people’s delicate sensibilities. Or perhaps, they don’t want to see the REDSKINS do well again. Given how dominant we were in the 80’s, the rest of the NFL will fear us. Teams back then hated coming to R.F.K., because they knew that 9 times out of 10, they were going to get their asses handed to them by the HOGS, the POSSE, or the FUN BUNCH!

In July, 1887, a credit application was heard in the Clermont Warden’s Court for the
reef claim 200 yards west of Hurley’s Dam, and the ‘Telegram’ states:
. His fee was 110 guineas, knowning that from the hotelkeeper
was 30 guineas. Good fishing was to be been in this river all the year long,
during flood-time, and when the water was clear fish could be seen taking the
bait at a depth of 10 feet.
