Redskins CBs Appear On ‘Mayne Event’

Washington Redskins cornerbacks Richard Crawford, Cedric Griffin and Josh Wilson will likely be expecting Emmy awards after their recent performances on ESPN’s ‘Mayne Event.’

ESPN personality Kenny Mayne last week made a visit to Redskins Park to talk to the trio about their thoughts about the phrase “corner” being transitioned into “edge” in football.

Yes, it sounds quirky — but that’s exactly how Mayne likes it.

Crawford and Wilson, especially, have dramatic roles in the piece, which you can view by clicking here.

I’m going to guess that Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III will be in a future “Mayne Event” piece. Griffin III read a line last Wednesday at his weekly press conference about some kind of award Mayne had won, and, of course, the Redskins Blog was there with the behind-the-scenes footage.
