Anthony Kearns To Sing National Anthem
Posted by on October 5, 2012 – 4:33 pmThe Irish Tenors performer Anthony Kearns will sing The National Anthem prior to Sunday’s game between the Washington Redskins and the Atlanta Falcons at FedExField. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m.
“I’m delighted to sing at the Redskins game this weekend — and I’m especially excited to see their new starting quarterback, ‘RG3′ in action,” Kearns said in a press release.
Kearns himself recently won the hearts of many American football fans when he sang last August during the “Notre Dame: A Welcome Home Celebration” before the Notre Dame vs. Navy Game in Dublin, Ireland. He also sang during the Military Tribute at the 137th Preakness Stakes, where trainer Doug O’Neill’s horse, I’ll Have Another, won the second leg of the Triple Crown. Some fans speculated that the Irish-born singer may have brought a bit of the “luck of the Irish” to Irish American, Doug O’Neill’s horse.

Exclusive Look At Redskins’ Pink Gear
Posted by on October 5, 2012 – 8:34 amOther than raising awareness and money for breast cancer research and initiatives, one of the coolest things about October in the NFL is that the league is somewhat lax on its strict uniform rules.
The players are really allowed take the “think pink” idea and run with it if they so choose, which, for the most popular sport in America, is awesome.
