Redskins-Buccaneers: Experts Pick ‘Em

A couple of weeks after getting the confidence of most NFL experts, the Washington Redskins find themselves heading into Sunday afternoon’s matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as underdogs.

In fact, less than 40 percent of the experts below believe the Redskins (1-2) can escape Raymond James Stadium with a win against the Buccaneers (1-2), who are considered 2.5-point favorites in Vegas.

I’m more than sure those in the Washington locker room would like to prove these experts and analysts wrong with a lopsided win, but, until they get the chance, check out this week’s Redskins-Buccaneers Experts Pick ‘Em:

Just two experts (and a machine) at CBSSports.com believe the Redskins are going to be victorious Sunday against the Buccaneers:

————————————————-

ESPN.com’s experts are split right down the middle when it comes to picking the Redskins-Buccaneers game:

————————————————-

FoxSports.com experts are united in their thoughts that the Buccaneers will win Sunday:

————————————————-

Hey, a majority that believes the Redskins will win! Here’s NFL.com‘s picks

————————————————-

ProFootballTalk/NBC thinks the Buccaneers’ defense will be too much for the Redskins’ offense, which is the highest-scoring unit in the NFL:

————————————————-

Sports Illustrated columnist Peter King thinks the Redskins pass rushers aren’t much of a worry for Buccaneers quarterback Josh Freeman:

Week 4 Pick ‘Em Totals: 13 for Redskins, 22 for Buccaneers

LINEBACKERS FOR WASHINGTON NEED TO BE USED MORE IN PASSRUSH AND IN EARLY DOWNS SAFTY’S USED IN RUN BLITZ GOING DOWN BACK SIDE OF PLAYS . PLAY MORE MAN DEFENSE AND SAFTY PLAY TWO DEEP, HAVE AT LEAST ONE INSIDE LINE BACKER BLITZ ON ALL 2 & 3 LONG PLAYS , THE DROP BACK IN SOFT ZONE IS ALLOWING TO MANY YARDS AND MAKING NEXT PLAY VERY MANAGEBLE WITH SHORT YARDAGE. DEFENSIVE IS TOO PERDICTABLE.
MIX IT UP \ GET AGRESSIVE \\ OFFENSIVE LINE TAKE CARE OF QB.

DEFENSE PLAY BETTER PASS COVERAGE , BLITZ MORE \\ OFFENSE PROTECT QB.

It’s Amazing to me how many “experts” are complete idiots and have no skill a their craft. In the above article the “experts” pretty much overwhelmingly pick Tampa Bay over the Redskins, the reason for this is because the only ability these “experts” have is looking at current stats, numbers, which honestly rarely accurately reflect the actual person or team. All of their expert advice is from the position of hindsight meaning they forget to evaluate the single most important variable of the game…The human playing and the human spirit! See none of these “experts” truly have the talent and ability to look forward and make a prediction based on more information than numbers from 3 football games. None of them have the vision to see a team or a persons previous actions, watch their current actions, evaluate their drive, skill, work that week, and put together a prediction based on the humans that play the game. These are the types that would NEVER be able to see a special trait in a player and stick by that player even if he doesn’t catch fire instantly blowing off scoffers knowing that player is going to emerge as a great. Nope, all these experts get paid for is to tell us that they’re “experts” and really just watch last weeks game and make an “expert” decision based off statistics that some one else compiled. Soooo who can’t do that?

So here’s my non-expert opinion Redskins win over the bucks surprisingly holding them to faaaar fewer points than all the analysts predict. Vincint Jackson is almost obsolete in the game, and Freeman gets constant pressure. In addition Tampa Bays number 1 defense against the run has a baffling day allowing the most rushing yards this season… Lets see who’s closer to right

I hope the defence doesn’t allow one receiver to own them . We need to play with a safety deep almost always to stop these big plays!

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Did I call it???!!! Didi I call it or what??!!??!! Read my prediction!!! Alfred Morris! Well we didn’t hold them to the fewer points, we almost did, at least in the first half which I knew we would, I knew the D often looses energy around the 2nd quarter but gave them a chance in my prediction thinking they would realize they lose steam in the second and change that this week but still I said Skins win, amd Morris runs all over Tampa”s #1 D againts the Run.. Matter of fact I drafted Alfred to my Fantasy team during training camp waaaaay before he earned the job. I’ll take the win today but really ugly ball in second half Tampa wasn’t even playing that well either
