With Veterans Day just a few weeks away, it’s now easier than ever to support our U.S. service members and veterans.
Bank Of America is sponsoring a program in which it will contribute one dollar for each photo uploaded to its site expressing appreciation for military service members and/or each picture uploaded via Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #troopthanks.
One hundred percent of the funds raised will go to support workforce develop programs run by the Wounded Warrior Project, included Warriors to Work, which helps Wounded Warriors transition back into the civilian workforce by provided career counseling services and job-placement assistance.
Here’s full details on how to participate:
– Go to www.bankofamerica.com/troopthanks and upload a photo or compose a short written message that expresses your appreciation for military service members and veterans. Please remember to include a caption for each photo uploaded, as each image and written message will be turned into a patriotic digital mosaic to be displayed in highly-visible places and ways this upcoming Veterans Day on Nov. 12.
– Upload a picture via Instagram or Twitter and tag it with the hashtag #troopthanks. Please don’t forget about the message of appreciation with each photo.
The program — which is made possible by the Bank of America Charitable Foundation — is running until Nov. 11.
