Redskins Rock Ruth’s Chris Steak House

Washington Redskins fans last night got the chance to meet and greet with some of their favorite players while watching Monday Night Football at one of the best restaurtants around.

Last night’s Monday Night Football Redskins meet and greet at Ruth’s Chris Steak House in Tysons Corner was the first of four such events planned throughout the season.

Joining the fans Monday night were outside linebacker Ryan Kerrigan, wide receivers Leonard Hankerson and Aldrick Robinson, offensive lineman Adam Gettis and defensive linemen Doug Worthington and Delvin Johnson, who were happy to pose for some pictures, sign some autographs and mingle with the best fans in football.

Getting involved in the future Redskins meet and greets at area Ruth’s Chris Steak Houses is easy. Admission is just $35 per person plus tax, and space is limited.

More than 120 students from nearby Sterling Middle School got a chance hang out with their favorite Washington Redskins players and get in a good workout Tuesday.

The Redskins played host to an NFL Play 60 Mini-Combine at their Ashburn, Va., facility, and took advantage of their new indoor training facility by taking things inside as rains and heavy winds moved over the area.

The event was a team effort between the Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation, Commonwealth Orthopaedics, DePuy Mitek, Inc. and Safe Kids Worldwide.

The students were being trained with the help of nine Redskins players who were happy to participate on their day off Tuesday, including:

Video: RG3 On Physicality: ‘Bring It On’

If you’re like me, then the frustration upon watching last Sunday’s game between the Washington Redskins and the St. Louis Rams was, at times, unbearable.

Scuffles after plays broke out between the two teams more often than not, and it almost reached a boiling-over point on several occasions — the most notable of which occurring after the Rams were flagged for a late hit on Redskins rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III as he ran out of bounds.

Though Griffin III appreciated the extra 15 yards, he said after the game — a 31-28 Redskins loss — that he’s not going to back down when the opposing team wants to get physical.

Be Sure To Arrive Early To Sunday’s Game

There’s already tons of anticipation for the Washington Redskins’ 2012 home opener on Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals.

And although kickoff isn’t until 1 p.m., the Redskins are encouraging all fans to arrive early to Sunday’s game to avoid major traffic jams and delays in the hours and minutes leading up to the matchup.
