Video: ‘Griffining’ No Big Deal To Griffin III

Whether you like it or not, “Griffining” is gaining popularity, and the man himself who harmlessly struck the pose last Sunday spoke about the phenomenon Wednesday during his weekly press conference.

Now, if you’re a Redskins fan, you should already know what “Griffining” is. But if you need a refresher, click here.

Anyway, Griffin III, as usual, is taking “Griffining” in stride.

“Who would have thought getting knocked on your butt and throwing a touchdown would start a phenomenon like that?” Griffin III asked a sea of reporters Wednesday at Redskins Park. ““Griffining and RGIII and whatever they want to call it, I’m not opposed to it. It’s pretty funny to me.”

Like “Griffining,” Griffin III was also referring to the fact that he doesn’t call himself “RGIII,” but it’s something that he doesn’t mind the fans having fun with.

Speaking of having fun, Griffin III said his teammates are even making sure to get their “Griffining” jabs in.

“I haven’t seen anyone do it,” Griffin said. “But some of my teammates have made fun of me for it — like I started it on purpose.”
