Fletcher Delivers On Saints Speech

Like team captains are supposed to do, London Fletcher took his band of linebacker brothers prior to Sunday’s season opener against the New Orleans Saints and told them their mission.
Using an “us against the world” mentality, Fletcher told his teammates that he was tired of hearing about how the Saints’ prolific, record-setting offense was going to torch the Redskins’ defense.
Nobody really gave the Redskins a chance in Sunday’s game — except those in the visiting locker room. And, in the end, the Redskins prevailed, defeating the Saints 40-32 in their own backyard and getting the 2012 season off on the right foot.
Here’s video of Fletcher’s passionate speech to the linebacker’s right before they took the field for Sunday’s game:
“This is what you’re waiting for, men. This is what you’re waiting for. Opening day, on the road, against everybody. They don’t care … all they’ve been talking about is the Saints’ offense. Let’s have them talking about us. Let’s have them talking about us. Let’s go! The expectation is domination, the outcome is win.”
